The user config lets you add or remove user config entries that the CrushFTP server ports can use. Once you create a user config, you can set a specific [IP Server] port to use that user config.

You can also set whether CrushFTP is using XML files for its users and groups, or if its using SQL for this. The XML method is the way CrushFTP 4 did things, and it works just fine. However some organizations may benefit greatly from having a SQL back end for the users. The SQL integrates with the CrushFTP [user manager], so you still have a full GUI to manage your users.
